Hossein Zeinali

Hossein Zeinali is an assistant professor at Amirkabir University of Technology (AUT), Tehran, Iran. He received his B.E. in Computer Engineering from Shiraz University, Iran in 2010, and his master’s (2012) and Ph.D. (2017) degrees in Artificial Intelligence area of Computer Engineering from Sharif University of Technology (SUT). He was a postdoc researcher at the Brno University of Technology (BUT), Czech Republic for 18 months in 2018 and 2019. His research interests include speaker recognition, speech recognition, machine learning, and deep learning.

Kong Aik Lee is an Associate Professor at the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, Hong Kong. Before joining PolyU, he was a Principal Scientist and a Group Leader at the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR), Singapore, during which he held a concurrent appointment as an Associate Professor at the Singapore Institute of Technology. He received his Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore, in 2006. Currently, he serves as an Editorial Board Member for Elsevier Computer Speech and Language (2016 - present) and was an Associate Editor for IEEE/ACM Transactions on Audio, Speech, and Language Processing (2017 – 2021).

Jahangir Alam

Jahangir Alam is a researcher at the Computer Research Institute of Montreal (CRIM), Montreal, Canada. He received his Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET), Khulna, Bangladesh in 2002. He received his master’s (2009) and Ph.D. (2014) degrees in Telecommunications from INRS-EMT, University of Quebec, Montreal, Canada. He is also an adjunct professor at INRS-EMT, Montreal, Canada. Since June 2021, he has been also appointed as an affiliate associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Software Engineering, Concordia University, Montreal, Canada. His research interests are in the broad areas of signal/speech processing, deep learning, unimodal & multimodal biometrics, robust representation learning, self-supervised speaker verification, anti-spoofing, clustering & diarization, domain adaptation & generalization.


Lukáš Burget

Lukáš Burget

Lukáš Burget is an Associate Professor with the Faculty of Information Technology, Brno University of Technology, Brno, Czech Republic, and the Research Director of the BUT Speech@FIT group. He was a Visiting Researcher with OGI Portland, USA, and with SRI International, Menlo Park, CA, USA. His scientific interests are in the field of speech data mining, concentrating on acoustic modeling for speech, speaker, and language recognition, including their software implementations. Dr. Burget was on numerous EU- and US-funded projects and was the PI of the US-Air Force EOARD project, and BUT PI in IARPA BEST.
